Now, Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild! takes that story to the next level as the boys head out on spring break in Fort Lauderdale and get caught up in a truly wild contest to see who can get laid the most before the vacation ends.

But the biggest obstacle of all turns out be true love, as the boys begin to struggle with how casual sex fits into their lives.

What were they producers thinking when they green lighted this mess. Such is the sorry state of gay cinema. That was the first and biggest mistake that this movie faced.

The waterskiing scene was some of the worst green screen I've seen in a long, long time. It was just atrocious to look at.

My rating of the 2008 comedy "Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!", from director Todd Stephens, lands on a generous three out of ten stars.

Another Gay Movie was a huge hit at Frameline30, and no wonder: It featured an appealing young cast in a breezy and risqué story of four young gay guys out to get laid for the very first time.

Just stick with the first movie...

I actually didn't know that this 2008 sequel existed prior to stumbling upon it by random chance here in 2025, as I found a copy of the original first 2006 movie "Another Gay Movie" and this 2008 sequel titled "Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!"

The storyline in the movie was pretty straightforward, but it just wasn't fully up to par with the 2006 "Another Gay Movie", and I really struggled with the re-casted characters.

I know I've just repeated myself...but then again so did this movie.

There was simply nothing left to say, add or continue with this sequel, other than putting together a similar premise of gay "teens" in another situation.

As impossible as it many seem, this film makes "Justin Loves Kelly" seem like a work of art. The release date of the movie is November 6th, 2008. The film tried to utilize the same formula; gay sex jokes, shock value, pop references and cameos from recognizable gay celebrities (I liked seeing Rupaul, but I consider any instance of having to see Perez Hilton a bad day on my calendar) but once gain, there just wasn't anything new here.

We've listed a number of streaming and cable services - including rental, purchase, and subscription alternatives - along with the availability of 'Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!' on each platform when they are available. Most of which just unnecessarily sleazed up the movie, and I dare say that had the writers opted not to include such, the movie would still have been able to tell its story and actually be a tad better in general.

The acting performances in "Another Gay Sequel: Gays Gone Wild!" were good, but when three out of four actors from the original movie didn't return to reprise their characters, then you just should have written the characters out of the storyline and not re-cast new actors to portray the characters.

Let's see, the plot device behind this film is a content to determine who can screw and get screwed the most during spring break. And while the jokes here were equally raunchy, they just were not funny as the "effect" of the first one had already prepared us for this premise (and I repeat; there is nothing NEW going on here).
