If you want to stay central, Ambiance Hotel sits right in Boyz Town near the action. There are three entrances to the complex, so keep walking until you’re in the center.

For those familiar with Silom Soi 4 in Bangkok, the bar vibe here is the same; many line the three sois with street-facing chairs and tables.

For events, keep an eye on Pattaya Pride activities, which tend to pop up around June and can include parties and community gatherings in and around Boyz Town.

March to May runs hotter, and June to October brings more rain and humidity, though you’ll often find cheaper rooms and a quieter scene outside holiday periods. You’ll get drier weather and cooler evenings, which makes beach time and bar-hopping comfortable.

For venues, start with Boy Town Pattaya for bar-to-bar cruising and regular drag.

Open daily 5pm until closing.

Best time to visit is November to February. (Question Mark Bar)
