In 2024, I became an official caster for both games, and I don’t plan on stopping there.

I often speak openly about my relationship with my girlfriend—not only because I’m proud to be with her, but also to show people that there’s nothing wrong with loving someone of the same sex. Abilities, Ultimates, and weapon loadouts borrow from Riot's multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game background, with players not having immediate access to most skills, but earning resources on the fly to purchase new equipment and to charge up powers.

I was fortunate enough to be Clove at their release in Mexico, and VALORANT is a game that brings communities around the world closer together.

The reception was very warm, and it's nice to see representation of the community I represent in games, since we exist in everyday life. I had felt so seen with one of my main interests (VALORANT) and my own identity just being mashed together in an amazing display of artwork.

Raze

Tayane “Raze” Alves is a Brazilian engineer with a love for paint, explosives, and combining the two.

Killjoy

Klara “Killjoy” Böhringer is a brilliant inventor from Germany and serves as an agent for the VALORANT Protocol under the tutelage of its commander, Brimstone.

They are super inclusive and always make me feel important.

This is especially true in the main game mode, with the winner being the first team to win thirteen out of twenty-four rounds.

Happy Pride Month, everyone!

Like every year since VALORANT’s release, we want to kick off the month by celebrating the many vibrant and diverse members of LGBTQIA+ community who help make VALORANT a place where everyone feels welcome.

We’ve got a new Pride title, gun buddy, and our returning Player Cards to help you celebrate in game.

Still, Riot has put together a strong foundation for a new franchise, and it's more than fun enough to keep players coming back.

VALORANT, like many other live-service, first-person shooters, has an ever-growing roster of playable characters for players to choose from. Also being one of the first drag artists to publicly play the game it just makes things more entertaining.”

“My name is Alice.

Although rounds tend to be quick, thanks to smaller maps and a 100-second time limit, that's still a lot time spent running through the same streets, hallways, and rooms. I’d be lying if I said I don’t think about it nearly daily.”

"When I first started playing VALORANT, I was mainly a lifestyle creator, so stepping into the gaming world felt completely new.

My girlfriend and I love cosplaying our favourite Agents together at events and meeting other VALORANT fans. At the end of the day, my goal is simple: to create a space filled with fun, good vibes, and genuine connection. But there's enough flexibility to allow players to bring a little of their own strategy to the gameplay and keep Agents from being locked into a specific style.

Unfortunately, this means that as much fun as Valorant is to play, it can get repetitive relatively quickly. I'm a drag queen, cosplayer and a streamer from Chile but I've been living in Mexico for three years now.

When it comes to what I do, the community is truly important. I've got the chance to meet a lot of important people to me from the LGBT community, especially my GF"

"Hello everyone!

And if you want to show some Pride out of game, be sure to stop by the new mural we commissioned for Masters Toronto from community artist, Strawberry7. Clove had been and still is one of the best representations of myself in any form of media. You’ll find it taking over the corner of Trinity-Belwoods park about a 20 min walk from where the games will be played.

Alright, now let’s hear from some of the voices in our community who bring players together no matter their background.

Since these resources are earned for nearly every action in the game, it adds an extra layer of strategy and balance to matches, with players forced to decide exactly when and where to spend their points.

There are currently only two game modes to play in Valorant, both involving planting or disarming a Spike device or eliminating the opposing team altogether before time runs out.

She has invented several of the technological gadgets that the Agents use in their work, including the invaluable Spike defusers. This was shown by Riot's usage of they/them pronouns when referring to the character, along with voice lines in-game keeping the same language.

Valorant

The field of online competitive shooters is more than a little crowded these days, so to stand out, new titles need to find a balance somewhere between familiarity and innovation.

Also in keeping with recent trends — see the Legends available in Apex Legends — the game has canonically LGBTQ+ characters in its cast.
