Instead of it being restricted to just the owner, though, it goes into effect for every player in the game, giving your opponents a shot at gaining land.
This can be worth it depending on the situation, but otherwise, the effect is just a good match for the unity seen in the art.
8 Diabolic Tutor
Diabolic Tutor is another card starring Chandra Nalaar, which shows her being advised by Liliana Vess.
For those who use red mana, satisfying their own passions and believing in their heart is essential, as well as acting freely when faced with their emotions and desires. We have hulking barbarians, nightmare demons with only half a head, a minotaur, and even an insect, but there isn't anyone who looks like me or the people on the Bearscape card just yet.
The other contributing fact is how media tends to view fat, queer people, especially men.
As they escaped them, they took all their money to Thunder Junction. This is a pretty nice effect, allowing you to take advantage of your draw step to play more sorceries and creatures.
The lack of an untap phase keeps this card in check without completely destroying its benefits.
4 Heartbeat Of Spring
Heartbeat of Spring is a close second to the most explicitly gay card in Pride Across the Multiverse, painting a tableau of two women holding each other close punctuated by a quote about the paradise they've made for each other.
The effect of this card is risky to use, but when everything goes right you can reap a huge reward– by doubling most mana across the board, you can use high mana maneuvers like those seen in a Vial Smasher not-white four-color commander deck.
She is from Zendikar and is considered an Animist, that is, shamans who can communicate with all parts of land and nature. After the guilds needed to join forces during the War of the Spark, their relationship became public; Tomik now uses Ral's scarf on his arm as a symbol of their connection.
We also have our dear Kynaios and Tiro of Meletis, straight from Theros.
Not because of any negativity, as I didn't see any people not adore this card. Today, in 2024, it is clear that the culture around its universe reflects its players and artists, either in each character story, a particularly exciting plane, or just the great character arches each villain goes through.

Featuring everyone from Alesha, Magic's first trans character, to the marriage of the first gay Planeswalker Ral Zarek and a newfound romance between Saheeli and Huatli, there’s a lot for all members of the community to enjoy.
However, there’s one card the community latched onto, and it quickly became the game's latest meme.
Savor the Moment has Ral Zarek finally marrying his partner Tomik. What's particularly great about the art is that it simultaneously embraces the erotic without making it the only feature; you can see many different aspects of a bear's life, representing the euphoria that comes with being allowed to love who you love.
As a card, it allows you to create a 2/2 bear token in exchange for the destruction of two cards in your graveyard.
She was also victorious.
In this clan, a name is something someone earns in battle, and Alesha, assigned a male before, declared her own name after she earned that privilege, and stated who she was. They're also skillful trackers, responsible for hunting monsters or any other creature that threatens the province of Kessig.
Even within the gay community, bears are sometimes seen as a niche group nestled just at the corners of 'acceptable' gaydom. I am Alesha, like my grandmother before me, and the leader of the Mardu. It didn't feel like the card was being celebrated in the same way as other cards in the set were.
