These comments quickly went viral online, and inspired Heated Rivalry actor François Arnaud to directly respond. This give and take between the two pop stars has been endlessly quotable in the decade since they went viral, and I think recreating it was the perfect way to show that there's no hard feelings between Firstman and the Heated Rivalry cast.
For his part, Hudson was encouraging folks to watch I Love LA even in the midst of the faux feud.

But it seems his goal wasn't to "attack" the show but to express a lack of true LGBTQ representation in the industry.

He tried to smooth out the impact of his aggressive comments by posting a story the next day expressing,

Heated Rivalry actor François Arnaud, who came out as bi in 2020, gave his two cents on Jordan's point of view by commenting on an Instagram post reporting Firstman’s criticism,

On Saturday morning, Firstman walked back his comments, writing on his Instagram Story, “I love ‘Heated Rivalry’ and ultimately I’m a f-ggot who can’t shut the fuck up but I’m gunna get better at that.”

I Love LA's star Jordan Firstman, who is openly gay, called out the Canadian breakout LGBTQ show Heated Rivalry starring Hudson Williams and Connor Storrie.
In an interview with Vulture, he said,

Though things seemed intense for a second there, Hudson Williams, who plays Shane Hollander on the show, allegedly shut down all the rumors of any beef between the cast members of the two trending shows, as on Wednesday, the Canadian actor posted a selfie with Firstman on his Instagram Story.
In the Story, the two have their heads bent together as they both smoke a cigarette.
